New distribution centre and assembly building for Beijer Ref
At the request of Beijer Ref, a globally operating partner in refrigeration technology and air conditioning, HVBM Vastgoed develops a building in which the Beijer Ref Support Centre will be established on business area Westfields, Oirschot.
In this new building four local operating subsidiary companies will incorporate their logistic and other back office activities. Also ECR-Nederland will leave her trusted sales location in Nuenen and moves into this new building.
The building consists of 9.450 m2 logistic space and 2.735 m2 office. The object is tailor-made and will be delivered 1 December 2017.
The four companies in the Benelux (Coolmark, ECR-Nederland, ECR-Belgium and Uniechemie) have a lot of knowledge and experience.Within the new structure now every company can separately offer in an optimal way the commercial services of every cooling technology project, within all market segments.
Udo van der Meer (managing director) on behalf of ECR: “Optimization in the chain is the motive behind this project. Working together is a must for the future. Because the new building is fully tailor-made on an optimal location, we entered into a long-term rental agreement”.
With already an option on a location on Westfields (18.707 m2) ECR contacted some parties, HVBM Vastgoed was ultimately the best partner for this beautiful “Design & Build” project.
The large multifunctional warehouse will be lay out with racks and mostly automatized through an Autostore installation. Also a space with crane tracks for assemblage and a testing room in which it is possible to test units with a very high humidity on a big temperature process will be realised.
Architect (Van den Pauwert Architecten) realised an inspiring design of the front of the building. The office space of 3 three floors consists among others things of a show- and training room.
Adriaan Molenschot, director HVBM Vastgoed: “We are happy with this excellent tenant in a Build to Suit building on a super location between Eindhoven Airport and the A25!”.
