HVBM Vastgoed delivers the new distribution center for Smartwares Group in Tilburg

On Friday 1 July, HVBM Vastgoed delivered the new distribution center at the Kraaiven business park in Tilburg to Smartwares Group. This 'built to suit' development consists of more than 45,000 m² of logistics office and business space.

Smartwares Group was founded in 1977 in Tilburg (then Tristar Europe) and has since grown into one of the market leaders in Europe in (smart) home appliances, safety and lighting, with various offices in Europe and Asia. Well-known brands of Smartwares Group include Princess, Tristar, Smartwares, Byron and Campart. Smartwares Group's products are sold in more than 80 countries, both offline and online. In addition to the aforementioned own brands, Smartwares Group also supplies numerous private label brands to Europe's largest e- and re-tailers.

The new EDC enables Smartwares to implement an even more efficient logistics solution with which we can anticipate the continuously changing supply chain and growth ambition.

The new-build development for Smartwares Group meets the criteria for BREEAM Excellent.
